Trip to Yellowstone 2008
Nicole and I decided to take the kids on a little drive to Yellowstone Park last weekend. We drove up through Idaho and stayed in a pretty decent hotel in West Yellowstone.
The next day we drove along the west corridor down south through the geyser basins that run along the west edge of the Yellowstone caldera boundary.
First we stopped at Fountain Paint Pot.
Glad to just be out in the wild.
We finally got an opening to get a shot and the geyser decides not to “geys” anymore.
It was hard enough to keep the kids away from the edge of the boardwalk let alone stand together for a picture.
“Dad, do we have to take another picture?”
“Let go of me. Dad, can we go now…”
Mom and little one.
On to Midway Geyser Basin
Old Faithful
On our way out of the park through the southern exit.
Nothing pleases a father more than a son’s first call of nature in the woods.
The only casualty on our trip was the poor little bird that flew right into our grill. Poor little guy.

Kristen, the fact that Jason started his blog 4 years before me pretty much solidifies him “beating me” …. um, you know what I mean ;) ha ha
Good job documenting our fun trip love! Can I just copy and paste this into mine? Love you!
